How to make the most of the Salzburg Card

  • Visit expensive attractions such as Mozart's birthplace and residence, Hohensalzburg Fortress and Hellbrunn Palace.
  • Ride the Untersberg cable car, as this is the most expensive of all the attractions on the Salzburg Card.
  • Use public transport regularly to explore the city and reach all the attractions quickly and conveniently.
  • Some of the Salzburg Card attractions are located outside the city. We recommend visiting mainly sights that can be reached quickly.
  • Visit sights and museums that don't take up much time. The more time you have available, the more attractions you can visit.
